Just a few kilometres behind Hurghada's hotels, the desert begins. Not the cosy postcard desert — but real Sahara. Vast, silent, overwhelming.
What do you ride?
*Quad Bike* The classic. You drive yourself, feel the sand under the tyres and have full control — on guided routes, but with a real sense of freedom.
*Buggy* Faster, wider, more adrenaline. Ideal for couples or friends who want to ride together.
*Camel* The traditional desert vehicle. Slow, dignified, and an experience you'll never forget — especially at sunset.
**The Bedouin Camp** After the ride, a real Bedouin camp awaits: tea and coffee by the campfire, sandboarding or simply looking up at the sky. The starry sky over the Sahara is phenomenal.
**When is the best time?** Early morning (sunrise safari) or evening (sunset and stargazing safari). At noon the heat is too strong. In winter, all times of day are pleasant.
